Core values determine how we do things and bring clarity to what matters most.

Unity - We will protect the unity of The Journey by ensuring that those who are involved in ministry embrace the mission and core values.

I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. 1 Corinthians 1:10

Creativity - We will consistently seek creative inspiration from the Holy Spirit as we execute ministry in order to remain relevant and avoid complacency.

Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself to others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life. Galatians 6:4-5 MSG

Excellence - We will do the very best with what we have because this brings glory to God and it inspires people. Striving to be better tomorrow than we were yesterday.

So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Stewardship - We will make the best use of all resources and opportunities God places in our hands to build His kingdom.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in it’s various forms. 1 Peter 4:10

Leadership Structure:

The Journey is ruled by Jesus Christ, staff led, and elder governed. We currently have a team of three elders who are given the responsibility to lead in various matters. They provide oversight and accountability for the church at large, the pastors and staff. They focus on dealing with big picture issues and strategic endeavors while our staff handles the day to day administration.
